Basic information

  • Persons interested in accommodation in CTU [Czech Technical University] dormitories must submit an APPLICATION via the ISKAM4 electronic information system.
  • Accommodation applications for the ongoing academic year can be submitted throughout the academic year. These applications are processed on an ongoing basis according to the submission date.
  • Accommodation applications for the following academic year are collected from January to mid-August, and evaluated collectively in accordance with the accommodation schedule (when allocating places, priority is given to CTU students, followed by students of other public universities, foreign schools and study programmes, and other persons; detailed information at ubytovani [at] cvut [dot] cz).
  • An administrative fee must be paid for the processing of the application – see fee list. The fee is payable after the application is submitted; in the event of non-payment, the application will be cancelled.
  • Upon evaluation of the application – assignment of accommodation, the applicant pays a financial security as per the price list, whereby the reservation is completed. In the event that the reservation needs to be cancelled, see the cancellation conditions in Part VI. Procedures and Rules for Assigning Accommodation - here.
  • In the application, the applicant chooses a preferred and alternative dormitory. If the accommodation capacities are filled, then they are assigned accommodation in another free dormitory (note: the capacities of smaller dormitories such as Sinkuleho, Dejvická etc. are filled quickly). It is possible to submit an application for a transfer during the year, from the date set forth in the schedule .
  • In the event of interest in a shared room (the applicant has chosen a roommate, applicants for accommodation as a couple etc.), it is possible to request shared accommodation from the manager no earlier than after the dormitory accommodation has been assigned; however, it cannot be guaranteed that all requests will be taken into consideration.
