Dejvická Dormitory

Dejvická Dormitory is located in Prague – Dejvice, directly on the CTU and University of Chemistry and Technology Campus and next to Sinkule Dormitory. The entire Nové Dejvice neighbourhood, including its centre, Vítězné náměstí, was built in accordance to a modernist urban plan by architect Antonín Engel.

Dejvická Dormitory underwent full renovation in 2004. Due to students’ continuously increasing demands for accommodation quality, further modernisation and replacement of interior furnishings is currently underway. It contains a total of 132 beds within residential units. It provides one- and two-bed rooms, with shared sanitary facilities and a kitchenette for each residential unit (2 – 3 rooms, i.e. 5 – 6 people). In co-operation with the CTU Students’ Union, and in particular with the Sincoolka student club, students can make use of social and cultural facilities, such as a gym, multimedia room, bicycle shed, bag storage, study rooms and a multipurpose playing field next to Sinkule Dormitory. The campus also includes the National Library of Technology, where you can loan academic books and study material, and make use of their study rooms.

Accommodation at Dejvická Dormitory is particularly attractive for students who are taught within the Dejvice University Campus, located 5 minutes away by foot at most. You can dine at the canteens which are part of the campus, at the canteens at Masaryk Dormitory or Studentský dům, or else make use of the more distant Technical Canteen.

There are a number of stores and restaurants on and around Vítězné náměstí, where you can shop or dine late, with restaurants even open until the early hours.

Dejvická Dormitory has excellent transport connections. Roughly 3 minutes from the dormitory is Dejvická metro station You can also use Prague Integrated Transport bus and tram routes, with Dejvická stop also around 3 minutes from the dormitory by foot.
